NPC has a varying contract with an average length of three years with different fees and rates depending on what kind of business is signing the contract. This is sometimes common across various merchant account providers. Some business owners may benefit from this, but it can also be a downside because there is less immediate transparency about the offered rates and fees. Most of what their agreement requires is general underwriting information. More specific details on the terms of their contract are unknown.

These are extensive and usually take several weeks to validate and go over internally inside of the company. Generally, these underwriting procedures in the industry require 3-6 months of bank statements, your credit history, your personal history, the volume of business you do, the size of the average transaction you perform, and much more.
A merchant shouldn’t expect to have an account set up with NPC for at least a few weeks to a month after applying. This would account for a rough but relatively accurate amount of time necessary to start taking debit and credit cards.
NPC has customer service that seems to be on the lower side. This is only because having independent sales agents sell their services; it’s not uncommon to have merchants dealing with these independent agencies or individuals instead of NPC directly.
