CoCard is an ISO that partners with several of the largest payment processing companies in the industry to provide a wide range of processing services to a wide range of business-types and sizes.

Almost all of the firm’s pricing remains undisclosed as CoCard’s contract terms and fees can vary significantly depending on the merchant client’s specific situation.

CoCard shows a relatively strong customer satisfaction rate but a relatively weak customer support team.

CoCard Overview

CoCard is a firm that partners with several other merchant account providers to offer payment processing services to merchants. Specifically, CoCard resells that financial contracts of First Data while also offering the payment processing services of Global Payments and eProcessing Network.

Each of the partnered companies are given equity in CoCard and access to the company’s proprietary security systems including transaction monitoring and fraud prevention features. CoCard therefore ultimately operates as an Independent Sales Organization (ISO) that hires independent sales agents to market its financial contracts to merchants.

The firm is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee and is a registered ISO of Wells Fargo Bank in Concord, CA, Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH, and Citizens Bank in Providence, RI.

CoCard Contract & Terms

The terms for a contract with CoCard can vary significantly depending on the merchant client. Additionally, the firm’s sales agents are known to have some flexibility when negotiating contract pricing as they can sometimes price clients on a case-by-case basis.

It's not uncommon for sales agents to try to sell merchants on more expensive contracts in order to receive higher commissions. For that reason, it's important to work with a sales agent that you trust as well as carefully read the full list of terms prior to signing the contract. Merchants are also advised to try negotiating every section of the contract to get the best deal possible.

Aside from storefront POS payment processing, CoCard also offers a virtual terminal and payment gateway for merchants processing online transactions. E-Commerce merchants looking to use CoCard's payment gateway should first request a price quote to consider any new potential charges including batch fees, technical support fees, gateway fees.

Rather, it seemed that they were confused about which firm exactly that they were providing customer service for.
