The TMF List, or "Terminated Merchant File List", is essentially the merchant services industry blacklist. It is designed to be a safety filter against people who commit fraud by aggregating these individuals onto one list, and then allowing other merchant account providers and industry organizations to view it.

Once a merchant is put onto the TMF you are not able to get a merchant account, forever. Or at least until you get taken off the TMF list.

The only way to get off the TMF list is to have the person/company who originally put you on it, take you off it.
