eProcessing Network Products & Services

eProcessing Network offers a wealth of software products for merchants as follows:

  • Secure Payment gateway: The backbone of ePN's lineup. You'll need to set it up to work with your account to utilize any of ePN's other additional features or products. ePN's gateway maintains PCI-compliance to protect all of your sensitive data.

  • ePNWOFG: The Web Order Form Generator enables you to create custom HTML code to make online order forms for your websites. The service is especially useful for e-commerce merchants.

  • ePNJPOS: A virtual terminal for accepting both card-present and card-not-present transactions. It is compatible with many third-party checks and card readers. ePNJPOS is not browser-based; it is a standalone software pack that installs on your PC.

  • ePNMobile: ePN provides mobile apps for tablets and smartphones. The app transforms your phone into a wireless terminal. It is available for iOS and Android.

  • ePNInventory: This is an integrated inventory management system that doesn't require the installation of additional software. It also integrates with various other ePN products, like the ePNJPOS, Secure Payment Gateway, and the ePNMobile apps.

  • ePNBillPay: This paper-free billing option enables merchants to create invoices and send them via email. Customers can pay their bills online, saving mailing costs.

  • ePNRecur: An optional recurring transaction service which allows you to set up subscriptions, installment payments, and membership pricing plans. Modification features include support for variable payment intervals and free trial periods.

  • ePNCDM: A customer data manager that acts as a cloud-based, secure database of customer information such as payment methods and billing addresses. It can export customer data, meaning you can take your customer database with you if you ever want to switch to another payment gateway.

eProcessing Network Advertising & Sales

The company relies mainly on resellers and ISOs to sell its products and services and has an in-house team to tackle direct sales. It is not possible to register for an ePN service via the website without talking to a sales rep. While sales calls can be monotonous, this does allow you to negotiate your service's terms and costs.

ePN has a reasonably active social media existence, with accounts on both LinkedIn and Facebook. They also have a very remarkable YouTube channel, which is often updated and includes a host of product tutorials and overviews. Social media engagement is a top priority for the company.

eProcessing Network Pricing, Rates & Fees

The company website does not disclose any pricing information. Many merchants will need to sign up for eProcessing Network via a reseller, which will cost more since resellers are expected to markup prices.

It is assumed that the company charges $8-$10 per month along with $0.05 per transaction, which are standard prices for payment gateways in the industry.

It is important to note that you may have to pay setup fees as well. Said standard industry fee is around $50, but it is unclear whether or not ePN has this fee. You might also have to pay more for any extra hardware, like card readers.

eProcessing Network Contract & Terms

ePN's secure payment gateway operates on a month-to-month basis. There will be a contractual association between you and ePN, but that contract does not include an early termination fee (ETF) or fixed-length term.

Nonetheless, it is essential to understand that your agreement with your merchant account provider might have both an ETF and a specified term. Many merchants face confusion over this aspect, complaining that ePN billed them an ETF  when the bill really came from the merchant account provider.
