CoCard Advertising & Sales

Merchant accounts from CoCard are marketed by independent sales agents who earn a commission on each sale. As mentioned earlier, CoCard ultimately functions as an independent sales organization (ISO) and positions itself as such under the name “CoCard Marketing Group, LLC.”

We could not find any complaints directed at CoCard’s advertising practices, which suggests that the company probably does not engage in overly-aggressive sales tactics or misrepresenting terms and fees.

CoCard Contract & Terms

The terms for a contract with CoCard can vary significantly depending on the merchant client. Additionally, the firm’s sales agents are known to have some flexibility when negotiating contract pricing as they can sometimes price clients on a case-by-case basis.

It's not uncommon for sales agents to try to sell merchants on more expensive contracts in order to receive higher commissions. For that reason, it's important to work with a sales agent that you trust as well as carefully read the full list of terms prior to signing the contract. Merchants are also advised to try negotiating every section of the contract to get the best deal possible.

Aside from storefront POS payment processing, CoCard also offers a virtual terminal and payment gateway for merchants processing online transactions. E-Commerce merchants looking to use CoCard's payment gateway should first request a price quote to consider any new potential charges including batch fees, technical support fees, gateway fees.
